It was a great day for cyclocross racing in Chicago on December 3.  The temperature in December was unusually warm at 58 degrees!  The races took place by Montrose Beach.  Men and women classes cycled in a series of meets.  The cyclists had to run a course that included hills and sand bumps. For some, the course was too rough and they fell in the sand or dismounted their bikes.  It was a colorful spectacle for onlookers to watch, since the competitors wore brightly colored sporting garb.
