Warm weather has finally come to the Midwest.  It was about time to venture out of the City and visit a natural area.  The place of choice was the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center in Willow Springs, Illinois.

A few of my photographer friends and I explored some of the many trails of this extensive nature preserve surrounding the  Nature Center. The Little Red Schoolhouse located next to the Center now serves as a place where childen and grown-ups alike can learn about forest preserve plants and animals.
