Photos Honored in International Black & White Photo Competition

2016 starts off with good news. The Black & White Spider Awards announced that three of my photos submitted to their Tenth Annual international competition received honors.

Jurors for the competition included captains of industry from Bonhams, Random House, Aeroplastics Contemporary, Stockholm City Museum, Annenberg Foundation, Leo Burnett, FTM Art Advisory and Fratelli Alinari.

"It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 7.786 entries from 74 countries that we received this year," said Basil O'Brien, the awards Creative Director. "Karen Hirsch's  ""New York Structure" and "Pyramid," entered in the Architecture category and "Running Horses" entered in the Fine Art Wild Life category are exceptional images representing black and white photography at its finest.
