On June 23, 2019, the Mexico International Polo Club team came to Oak Brook Polo Club to play in the Butler Challenge Cup. The Oak Brook Polo Club bested the Mexican team with a score of 8 to 6.

The players changed up their horses several times during the match, as the game is fast paced, and they do not want to wear out their ponies. Although it rained for a brief period, that did not stop the play from continuing.

Many spectators wore their elegant hats and colorful clothes to add to the festive spirit. On one side of the field, tailgaters enjoyed the game while partaking of their picnic lunches. On the other side of the field, enthusiasts gathered under a line of bright white tents. In the large, main tent, there was a fundraising luncheon for the Polo for Conservation group, which supports conserving the environment for African animals and maintaining a functioning economy for the well- being of the Massai people of Africa. This charity is supported by Jorie Butler Kent and her daughter Reute Butler.

The Butler family was on hand to present the Butler trophy to the winning team at the end of the polo match.
