CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS STANLEY CUP PARADE 2015

It seemed like all of Chicago was celebrating the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup win today. The team's ecstatic fans converged in downtown Chicago and in Soldier Field. The Blackhawks players,and familes, thier coaches and support staff road atop bright red doubledecker buses. Enthusiastic fans, wearing their Blackhawks red shirts, formed rivers of red on the streets of Chicago. The parade which started on Jefferson and went east on Monroe Street through downtown Chicago Fans climbed atop a transit entrance on Michigan Avenue and even hiked up traffic lightpoles to get a glimpse of their team. Windows of the highrises along the parade route were filled with onlookers. Even the Lion statues at the Art Institute of Chicago donned Blackhawks helmuts to show their support.The parade culminated with a rally at Soldier Field. A statium of happy fans greeted their hockey heroes who individually raised the Stanley Cup to the crowd's great roar of approval.
