Chicago’s 45th Gay Pride Parade
Sunday, June 29, 2014

More than a million people gathered along Broadway in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood to watch the 45th Chicago Gay Pride Parade. This colorful spectacle didn’t disappoint. Politicians, corporations and not-for-profits provided floats populated by folks in brightly colored garb. This was the first year that the parade was held, since Illinois passed a law to allow same sex marriages.
