The 40th Chicago Annual Jazz Festival took place from August 24 - September 2 at venues across Chicago. Top musicians from around the country came to the Windy City to perform. This free event is a real crowd pleaser. Thousands attend the free concerts.
I was there on Saturday night at the Pritzker Pavillion in Millennium Park. The headliner of the evening was the legendary jazz pianist and Grammy award winner Ramsey Lewis. All of the musicians who performed that night were extremely talented.
