The 13th Annual Color International Awards gave honors to four of my images in four categories: Silhouettes, Architecture, Fine Art, and Children of the World. Honorable mentions went to two photos that I made in Houston, Texas last year - Stepping through the Light and Chapel of St. Basil. In the Fine Art category, Luminescent Presence made in Chicago and Guarani Girl, made in Iguazu Falls, Argentina, received nominees.
6,093 entries were received from 73 countries.
The Jury represented some of the industry's biggest names from magazines, broadcasting, corporations, galleries and museums including Newsweek, New York; Apartheid Museum, Johannesburg; The Art Channel, London; Netflix, Los Angeles; Koller Auctions, Zurich; Preus Museum, Norway; Galerie Mitterrand, Paris; Fila, New York; Wieden & Kennedy, Portland; Kolle Rebbe, Hamburg; Fox Broadcasting Network, Los Angeles; Gallery Kong, Seoul; Mini/BMW Group, London; and the Royal Academy of Art and The Hague, Netherlands.
