The 11th Annual International Color Awards announced this week that the two photos that I entered received recognition.  "Spinnakers in the Windy City" received an honorable mention in the Sports category.  "Prickly Abstract" received a nomination.  

The competition was juried by experts in the arts industry from Christie's-Paris, Grey Group-New York, the Art Channel - London, the Preus Museum - Norway, Art Beatus - Hong Kong, Whitechapel Gallery - London and the V&A Museum - London.

More than 5,642 entries were submitted by photographers from around the world.
